Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on the television. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas and studied physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long. She soon moved to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including independent local films and commercials. Despite small roles, she quickly discovered her passion to act. After that, she relocated into New York in 2001 and landed her very first acting job as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. During early 2000s she had small roles in JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role as her first part of a series in The Mountain which was the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some amazing TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. In the course of a limited period, she was transferred onto Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. Just a few minutes later, De La Garza was cast in CSI Miami in a recurring role. She performed the role of Marisol Deko as the spouse to David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather darker dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was eventually cancelled after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has a younger sister Cory who is Italian through origin. She was brought up in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano began her profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter took her to an acting audition. Out of more than a thousand applicants her name was picked to be one of only four. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and the American premier of Jane Eyre.
