Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on the television. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas and studied physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long. She soon moved to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of acting roles, including independent local films and commercials. Despite small roles, she quickly discovered her passion to act. After that, she relocated into New York in 2001 and landed her very first acting job as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. During early 2000s she had small roles in JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got a role as her first part of a series in The Mountain which was the short-lived drama on television.
